Power Up improves the Pokemon's CP and HP. To perform a Power Up on a Pokemon, you need to spend Stardust and Candy specific to the Pokemon.
Power Up Information
Amount of CP a Pokemon gains per Power Up is calculated through a complex formula and depends on the Pokemon's Hidden Stats. Each Power Up will also increase the Pokemon's Hidden Level by 1/2.
Formula for calculating your Pokemon's current Hidden Level:
- Hidden Level = CP / CP per Power Up / 2
Power Up Items
Item | Acquired by | Description |

Candy | Successfully capture a Pokemon or hatch one from an egg Transfer a Pokemon to Professor Walking the Pokemon as a Buddy | A Pokémon's CP are increased. Can only be given to one kind of Pokémon, or its evolved form. |
